| The initiative "Germany - Land of Ideas" organised a discussion forum under the title "Power of Ideas" for accredited journalists at the G8-Summit in Heiligendamm in June 2007. 22 speakers from business and science introduced their ideas and innovations that could be put to use in solving global problems. Dr. Wulf Bentlage, CEO of Geohumus International Gmbh & Co. KG, was selected to make the introduction speech in the panel "Africa".
